3″ Hornet drone ready to fly!
After a month of construction my Hornet drone is now completed, and ready to fly! It comes in at 165 grams without battery, or about 270 grams with a battery.

After a month of construction my Hornet drone is now completed, and ready to fly! It comes in at 165 grams without battery, or about 270 grams with a battery.
The Armattan Gecko 3″ frame has a 20 x 20 mm mounting pattern, and the Runcam Split S 4 has a 25.5 x 25.5 mm mounting pattern, so by default they don’t fit.

Time for a new drone build … enter the Hornet build, based upon the Armattan Gecko 3″ frame. Capable of running on 4S LIPOs but supporting a RunCam Split 4 4K instead of a GoPro.
